March Devlog: Winter is coming… and so is Chapter 10

It’s already March, and we’ve got some exciting progress to share. Thank you for sticking with us!
Let’s jump right in~
Chapter 10 + Weather Systems
We are currently working on Chapter 10. And in this chapter, winter arrives to the inn.
Sara, her friends, and the adventurers will step into a brand new winter-themed map, built to reflect the seasonal shift. Alongside this, we are working to introducing new weather-based gameplay mechanics that will change how you play.

We will be sharing more details about these weather features in our next devlog, so stay tuned!
New Master Adventurers
Earlier in development, we focused on building the core chapters, which meant adding adventurers took a back seat. Now that we’re approaching the final stages of the story, we’re shifting focus back to expanding the roster!

When designing Master Adventurers, we put a lot of thought into their individual identities. Each one has their own story, which we present through a series of small in-game events.
Every new Master Adventurer comes with:
5 unique events
A personal memento
A preferred facility within the inn
We hope these elements help bring each character to life and make your time with them more meaningful~
New Mechanic: Contraband System
Starting in Chapter 10, Sara will begin dealing in contraband goods as part of her contract with Anise.
These goods can be sold to adventurers, including those from the Mountain Guild!
This new Contraband System will run through Chapters 10 to 12. Since it ties closely into overall game balance, we are taking extra time to get it right.

Dev Life Update
A magpie has built a nest on the electricity pole near the entrance to our “neighbourhood home” (also known as the office).

We are keeping a close eye on it and hoping it does not cause any unexpected power outages. Just in case, we are making sure everything is backed up. Always save your work :)
What’s Next
We are working towards a full release this autumn.
As we enter the final stretch, major updates may slow down a little. Thank you for your patience as we focus on finishing the game properly.
