Soulash 2 Patch Notes — May 1, 2026

Greetings fellow gods,
Most of the work remains around the World Events, but they are not ready for deployment yet, and the content update will have to wait. Some important fixes couldn't wait any longer, though, so here's the changelog for today's update.
Added
- New Tailoring milestone.
- Added Long Shirt to Tailoring milestones.
Changed
- Temporary event-related settlement buildings, like festivals, now roll back to the previous map state after events are finished. Backup will apply only to newly placed buildings. For buildings placed in previous game versions, the old method will apply. In case of issues with the old towns, it's now possible to use the mapregen command to refresh them.
- When NPCs change occupation, they retain higher base stats instead of always overriding them.
Fixed
- Improved stability of working in settlement buildings.
- Fixed a crash related to the AI action planner.
- Fixed a crash related to equipping items.
- Fixed a crash related to building with settlement resources.
- Fixed a crash related to bounties.
- Fixed a crash related to the Crafting Screen.
- Fixed a crash related to food acquisition from Adventuring passive while traveling the world.
- Fixed an issue where some craftable items may have come from treasure chests without any resources, preventing upgrade.
- Fixed sending purchased world event items to our settlements.
- Black Dragon Lair now has a way back up.
- Improved save recovery from backup in case of general.json file corruption.
- Fixed building overlap on the Settlement Screen on 2560x1440 resolution.
- Winter's Embrace Necklace now inherits armor type bonuses from its resources.
- Filling blank occupation with current occupation in history events that were extended to support this information.
- Fixed missing Arctic Flower spawn in regions where they exist as natural resources.
Modding
- Command 'mapregen' can now be used in NPC towns.
- Fixed a crash when translation for some parts of the game is not available - such cases will be reported in error logs.
- Fixed a crash related to the attempted draw of invalid abilities on the Skills Screen - it will log the issue instead.
- Fixed some crashing cases when loading broken or incompatible mods, instead showing a message indicating there's an issue.
- Fixed a crash in the Mods Screen when a mod provides an invalid path to its icon.
- Disabled spawning of background tiles with the spawn cheat command.
I'll update you guys on progress as the upcoming v0.10 gets closer to completion.
