In the East of the politically-unbalanced region of Midland, there is a place where no city-dweller would dare tread; home of the Romer or 'People of the Wastes.' A stoic people of devout religious beliefs, the Romer wander the wastes seeking enlightenment from the gods, often falling prey to the many dangers of such a place.
