Farlands Patch Notes — June 18, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
After three years of development, which were theoretically meant to be two, the day has finally come to release the final content update for Farlands: the one that will complete the game and bring its development to a close.
But don’t worry! We’ll still be keeping a close eye on all your feedback so we can continue making fixes for a while and make the experience as polished as possible.

But let’s get into it: what will this update bring?
Well, everything that’s still missing, plus a mountain of improvements related to gameplay experience, controls, game feel, and overall polish. Let’s take a quick look:
Darmstad, the final planet
At the farthest edge of SR755, Darmstad awaits: a planet you’ll only be able to access once you’ve upgraded your ship enough, and one that hides countless valuable resources.
In Darmstad, not only is there no oxygen, but everything that moves away from the glowing mushrooms even loses its color. You’ll have to move between safe areas to avoid passing out. Darmstad is a very dangerous place.
Its caverns are packed with some of the most valuable resources in the system, but they’re protected by its most hostile creatures. The Darmstad mine has no bottom, but the deeper you go, the better the resources you’ll find.
100% and Post-Game
With the introduction of Darmstad, you’ll be able to complete the Ark to 100% of its capacity.
But that’s not all. After completing the story and saving the system, a series of final missions will still be waiting for you, taking you across the entire system, introducing you to new characters, and giving meaning to everything happening in the Farlands universe.
The last thing left for you to do is solve the mystery of the pyramid.
50 Achievements
With the completion of the final planet and the remaining events, we’ve added the last 19 achievements, bringing Farlands to a total of 50. Getting them all won’t be easy: you’ll need to complete the Ark, find all the Robeets, get married, upgrade your house, complete the post-game…
For all of you who love completing everything in games, there are plenty more hours of Farlands waiting for you.
Improved Controller Support
Since 1.0 is launching not only on Steam, but also on consoles, we’ve been working hard to improve the controls as much as possible, so that playing on Steam Deck, PC with a controller, or console feels as comfortable as it can be.
Furniture, items, game feel, bugs, and much more
As with every update since Early Access began, we’ve added a good handful of furniture and items, worked on the game feel of every system, fixed mountains of bugs that we found and that you reported, and generally worked to polish the Farlands experience as much as possible.
With this update, even more so, because we want what will be many players’ first contact with Farlands to be a smooth and pleasant experience from the very first minute.
Even so, bugs and small issues may still appear, so we’ll keep paying close attention to all your feedback and release patches with fixes after 1.0. We’ve poured our hearts and souls into Farlands over these years, and we won’t stop doing so after launch.
A few final words
Finally, all that’s left for me to do is thank you all for your support throughout all this time.
In less than a month, Farlands will be ready, and that’s something I can say thanks to everyone who has been there during Early Access.
Thanks to your support, your reports, and your endless patience, the game that began as a beautiful dream has become a reality. So, from the entire Farlands team:
Thank you so much!
