SKINSTEALER EVOLUTION SYSTEM
All Skinstealers now spawn in a smaller form, they are weaker but also very fast.
After consuming enough bio-samples or corpses they can evolve into the big bulky form we all know.
Before this update, the Skinstealer started each round at full power with all abilities available. A good early fight or a well placed gore bomb could eliminate many players within seconds. Those players would then respawn as fully powered Skinstealers, and the humans’ chances of winning the round could quickly drop to zero.
This first iteration of the evolution system aims to address those issues. It’s a big change, and I know it will take some time to get used to, but I truly believe this direction will be healthier for the game in the long run, especially for newer players and overall match pacing.
I’ll continue monitoring how matches play out and make adjustments based on your feedback.
