【Ranked Match Adjustments】
Introduction to the Ranked Match changes:
1. The method of obtaining Orbs for Ranked Match tiers 1-8 has been changed. Losing in Player Match will no longer result in penalties, allowing players with low win rates (<50%) to rank up smoothly. High win rate players will have other mechanisms to accelerate ranking up. Overall, the number of wins required for all players to reach the Luminary rank will decrease.
2. To balance the experience of different decks, a new grouping mechanism has been added to Ranked Match in addition to Tiers. If players have a high win rate recently, they will move up a group; otherwise, they will move down. During matchmaking, players will be prioritized to match with others of the same Tier and group.
3. Removed the Promotion Matches for Tiers 5, 6, and 7, retaining only the Promotion Matches for Tier 8 to Luminary and Luminary to Great Luminary.
Details of the Ranked Match adjustments:
1. Grouping
Based on the recent Player Match win rates of guests, they are divided into five groups, ranked from low to high: Matsu Stream Crane, Plum Branch Oriole, Maple Shadows Deer, Willow Brushes Tsubame, and Paulownia Perching Phoenix. Guests start in the Matsu Stream Crane group and can advance to higher groups by maintaining a high win rate. Each time, they will only advance or drop one group from their current group.
When matching, priority will be given to Player Matches within the same group. Victory point multipliers vary for wins against different groups, allowing guests in higher groups to progress through the Ranked Match ladder more quickly.
At the end of the season, groups will also be reset according to the following rules: Matsu Stream Crane group remains unchanged, Plum Branch Oriole, Maple Shadows Deer, and Willow Brushes Tsubame groups drop by one tier, while Paulownia Perching Phoenix group drops by two tiers.
Each season, when guests are regrouped or promoted to a higher group, they will receive additional victory points for the next 10 wins. If their group rank drops midway, there is no need to worry as the remaining bonus win count will be retained until the end of the season.
2. Points
In Ranked Matches from the initial rank to rank eight, guests will earn points for each victory. Once the progress bar is full, the points will automatically be converted into Orbs. Losing a match will not result in point deduction.
When players win a Player Match, the total points earned include Victory Points, Win-streak Points, Cross-group Points, and Acceleration Points.
Victory Points: The base is 100. When guests advance to a higher group during this season, the points earned for the first 10 victories will be increased.
Win-streak Points: Achieve a win-streak of three or more, and earn this reward for each victory.
Higher Group Points: Guests can earn this reward by defeating opponents from higher groups during this battle.
The three types of points mentioned above will be multiplied by the corresponding multiplier of the guest's current group after acquisition.
Acceleration Points: After the new Season begins, players receive compensation based on their Tier from the previous Season. These points are not affected by group multiplier bonuses and are related to the player's current Tier in the new Season. The closer the current Tier is to the previous Season's Tier, the fewer points are earned until it reaches zero.
At the end of this season, points will be reset.
3. Season
Each season lasts approximately 45 days (one and a half months). At the end of the season, all players' Tiers will be reset.
For players in Tier 1 to Tier 4, their Tier and Grade remain unchanged.
Guests above Tier 5 will have their tier reset to Tier 5 Beginner.
Improvements and Bug Fixes
· Optimized the interruption mechanism in the game. This optimization has been tested and adjusted in the test servers during August and September. Now, subsequent operations requiring interruptions (such as Divine or card selection operations) will function normally.
