*Please note, there's a lot of changes in this update which means if you continue a game from the previous build, there may be unpredictable results!*
*Also note! AGK's shader pack DLC made some pretty effects but I've decided it just causes way too many issues for too many players so it has been ENTIRELY removed. So things might not look as shiny as before, I'll see if I can find a way to improve this with vanilla AGK later. For now though, I think it's more important that the game just works for as many people with as few crashes as possible. You might find things I missed have no textures. I have noted myself that since removing the shader pack, things do run much better as it added a LOT of weight to the game - let me know how you get on.
WHAT'S NEW IN WITHERSMONT
FEATURES
* There is now a gallery of all submitted horse art accessible from the main menu, so now you can take a look without waiting for something to show up in the kitchen.
* You can now resize the window again, but this takes into account users with 4K displays. Window sizes range from 1024x576 to 3840x2160.
* To make finding ingredients less of a memory test, there is now an indicator when you click a house to tell you if that house has been searched for an ingredient or not, and the results if so.
* As well as a cake indicator, clicking a house on view mode also brings up a tiny notepad connected to each house. This is useful if you deduce something that isn't explicitly stated on your roster cards, for example if the Disciple tells you the Lookout is visiting them tonight and you can see where the lookout is, you'll know that's where the Disciple's at and can make a note.
* Houses where you have no information are now a darker grey when clicked so they stand out against the snow better.
* When you begin a new game, you can now input a seed value. This seed will always generate the same town, so you can have another go with the same horses. Using a different set of custom horses will throw this off, and you can only replay or input a seed on a fresh start of the game (otherwise it don't work, you see). Seed values for any game can be seen on the options screen if you find a town you want to replay. The seed is caps-sensitive.
* Consequences for attempting to play as a pacifist have returned.
* Most of the achievements are now working correctly again, with a couple of new ones added too. An exception is 'Trot of the Antarctic', which requires a bit more work.
* If the spy is still alive when you die, who they were is now revealed on the final roster.
* The Magician now has an attack spell called Far Sight. When cast, they will be watching a house remotely and if you attack that house and kill a pony they will see all and unmask you! Luckily, your pet is magic sensitive and will warn you when this has happened. He can also detect and report to you if a house has the Far Sight spell cast upon it, so if you want to be sure the house is safe send your pet there first. Or don't, if you're the risk taking type.
MUSIC
* A new track, "Pony Horse Lives Forever" added to the OST.
BUGFIXES
* Unfortunately the AGK Steam plugin no longer seems to be able to send and retrieve stats to Steam, which meant it was impossible to get certain incremental achievements linked to your all-time kills stat. This stat is now held locally instead, so it should now be working. All time kills are shown on the final stats screen, which of course are only counted from this update.
* Bug where you could be interviewed during a blizzard fixed.
* The cake door animation works correctly again.
* All bugs relating to Shaders fixed (by removing the shaders entirely!)
* Bug where sometimes the players would be shown the dev text fixed.
* Bug where the second torture victim would instantly die fixed.
