As part of Steam Next Fest, the demo for Moss: The Forgotten Relic DEMO is now available to play!
For those who may have missed the announcement, Moss: The Forgotten Relic is our reimagining of the Moss adventures for PC and consoles. It brings together the stories of Moss and Moss: Book II into a single experience built specifically for handheld (✅ Steam Deck Verified!) and flatscreen play. It's launching July 16, 2026!
For many players, this will be their very first opportunity to meet Quill and experience her story in a medium that is available and comfortable to them. We're excited that more people will finally be able to join the adventure, and many will have the chance to revisit an old friend in a new way.
What to Expect in the Demo
- Around 30 minutes of spoiler-free playtime
- Meet a tiny hero that happens to also be a mouse
- Exploration across handcrafted, diorama-like biomes
- Environmental puzzles woven naturally into the world
- Light combat encounters and interactive traversal
- A few secrets along the way
