Announcing 'The Pinnacle to the Pit' Beta
Solium Infernum Patch Notes — February 23, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Greetings fiends!
We’ve risen from the abyss once again to announce Solium Infernum’s upcoming Second Anniversary Update: Pinnacle to the Pit!
This work-of-love behemoth of an update is filled with all manner of devious new cards, edicts, events, praetor moves, balance tweaks, bug fixes, and more! Truly, we've been gripped by a strange form of madness for our beloved game. But with such a devious and sprawling update comes a greater need to ensure its stability, so we're running an open beta.
The Pinnacle to the Pit Open Beta will begin sometime next month, and there's no need to sign up, nor any infernal paperwork - it will be free for all to try, and no doubt a free-for-all. This is your chance to help us test the Beta and get it into good shape for final release!
The official LoG Discord will be the place where most discussion will be taking place during the beta, so make sure to hop on over and join. From there, you’ll be directed on how to hop on the Open Beta when it’s released and able to find other testers (beloved sickos) to play with.
A full change list will be announced on Steam later, but for now, some of our favourite highlights include:
Slag: to discourage turtling players spamming the Seek Tribute button turn-after-turn, we’ve introduced a new Tribute type. When an Archfiend’s Tribute Quality dips below zero and they still choose to Seek Tribute, they’ll have the chance of drawing worthless zero-value ’Slag’ tokens, which will quickly fill their coffers if Seek Tribute is continually abused.
In Support of the False Monarchy: Usurpers now have a harder time taking and holding Pandaemonium. Conclave-aligned legions can now lend legion support to Pandaemonium in combat against any would-be attackers in emergencies.
More Machiavellian Politics: we’ve added a bag full of new, nasty Infernal Edicts to vote upon, designed to grind your fellow Archfiends (and perhaps you) between the proverbial rock and hard place.
Terror-forming: we've resurrected the ‘hell-sculpt’ terrain Ritual. With the right tools, a diabolist can alter the game map itself! For those who remember the original Solium Infernum, this may be a welcome or just terrifying (the yawning chasm is back!).
A big thanks to Will Dyce and Matt Pettifer for coming back once again to work on this update - truly two of Hell’s most loyal sickos!
