Spawn entities
- Added spawn entity, spawn item, and spawn new location on map. This is more convenient than console commands. This is on by default for Adventure and Roguelite settings.
- Added options for spawning entities in grid mode
Minor fast travel overhaul
- By default, traveling beyond your current travel radius is now allowed. In these cases, the LLM will be told that the time it takes to travel may be longer than usual. This can be toggled on/off in Scenario Settings.
Place initialization options
- Added option to avoid initializing entities in new areas in hierarchical mode
- Added option to declare a specific place as unsuitable for entity initialization in hierarchical mode (for example if you had added a bunch of NPCs before visiting and wanted to avoid generating more upon visiting)
New game options
- Added optional “opening scene description” in new game view
- Added option to specify your new quest if starting without a quest, as opposed to being locked in to a pregenerated quest
Key bindings
- Added key mappings and UI for rebinding keys, including the console key, under the new Options tab “Controls”
Unified mode fixes
- Fixed bug with quick actions context in Unified mode
- Fixed game-breaking bug when using Unified mode with a mod that had overridden Narrative Flavors without implementing Unified versions thereof
- Fixed Unified mode spawning duplicate entities already in current location
- Fixed Unified click-to-move plausibility
- Added player action suffix to Unified mode
- Fixed target bonus/penalty issue in Unified mode (AI now receives target power bonus/penalty in context and can apply it in roll mods)
- Fixed new entity placement logic in Unified mode
- Fixed weird ordering of some request info in Unified mode
- Fixed bug with OOC queries when using Unified with Panoramic mode
- Fixed bugs with “move_entities_here” API in Unified mode
- Added target value for Quest V5 tasks to prompt context
- Added inclusion of interruption nudge for Unified grid mode if player path was long
- Added support for item turning into static object via move_entities_here (previously only available via state change)
- Reduced incidence of duplicate calendar event for ongoing event
Misc features
- Added ability to edit narrative instructions before starting scenario, in the Lorebook (right-most) tab
- Added more functionality for editing items: Editing their skill/attribute bonuses, resistance depletion, attack mitigation
- Added Undo button to narrative/generation rulesets to revert last AI-generated update
- Added option to edit HP and current status bar value
- Added support for free-form instruction when adding a single faction in new game view
- Added option to edit approximate region diameter in universe view when right-clicking the world
- Added back “Move here” context menu option for entities in case drag-and-drop is cumbersome
- Added option to disable text fade-in effect
Misc fixes
- Fixed long-standing bug where places didn’t properly initialize last updated time, so passage-of-time prompt would say it’s been millions of days since last updated
- Implemented mitigation for Mentioned Location duplication for both Unified and Specialized mode
- Fixed bug where custom model users couldn’t use panoramic mode queries which contain images; it now properly forces official cloud in these cases requiring multi-modal input
- Improved handling of move_entities_here for entities moving with player
- Fixed bug with pre-existing entities context when switching locations via click-to-move
- Fixed issue causing the Quests V5 to error out if target was generated as 0, and added retroactive fix for broken saves
- Fixed issue where many Quests V5 would be created in a bugged state until saving/reloading the game
- Changed defaults for Roguelite scenario setting: allow spawning entities and unlimited undos set to true
- Added mitigation for when official cloud models generate plausibility JSON with an extra bracket
- Fixed bug when deleting static object via location details
- Added mitigation for rare “Steam auth issue”
