GwenBlade Patch Notes — December 18, 2025

First, I want to thank you all for supporting me this whole time^^~

GwenBlade was a very complex and ambitious project even for the second game, and I've made a lot of mistakes. Some of them led to the unfinished character dialogues and the inability to bake shadows on maps, which rendered the game un-updatable without further issues.
I'm so glad that I continued working on games, and it led me to overcome those issues, and not all levels have new baked lightning, and also on top of that, complete dialogues for every character
I also heard a lot of feedback on platforming, and to ease the player's pain i added double jump and also tweaked the gravity to make it much more predictable to traverse the area.
By far the biggest news is - it's not only the first update in a year, but also the first in a new line of monthly updates!
I want to address most, if not all, fair criticism that this game received
I want to bring it to the intended design(a lot of scraped and undercooked mechanics will be realised to their full potential)
I want to make a good game
Thank you all once again, and I would love to see you fighting depression!
