New Features
- Updated Valley topography and added new objective features
- Updated Valley lighting and post-processing to hopefully provide a clearer picture of the valley and its zones
- Story encounters have returned! Each zone will have a story-based encounter presented to the player, along with a number of choices for how to proceed. There are currently 30 unique story encounters, not including scripted boss encounters and dynamic stories, and are 100% randomly generated.
- Updated ambient audio for most outdoor battle maps
Crashes and Bugs
- Fixed a crash that occurred when saving a game where a merchant had been discovered.
- Fixed a crash that could sometimes occur when confirming a movement path with a length of 1 hex.
- Fixed a crash that occurred when a unit equipped with a torch was slain
Polish
- When landing at a new zone, nearby zones should be correctly lit according to the encounter status
- Changed scaling on merchant trader interface to clean up jittery tooltips for items on the outermost edges for each side of the trade
- Cleaned up scaling on Boss Bar Name, it should now correctly display the name of the boss in the biggest font possible based on the player’s resolution
