Greetings, fellow MINDHACKers!
We’re excited to announce that the brand new Chapter 5 of MINDHACK is scheduled for release on March 2, 2025, at 12:00 AM (JST).

In response to your requests, MINDHACK will also introduce Steam Cloud save alongside the Chapter 5 update.
What Is Steam Cloud Save?
Steam Cloud save allows you to seamlessly continue your game progress across multiple PCs using the same Steam account.
Important Notes About Cloud Save Integration
As Cloud save is enabled, please keep the following in mind if you play on more than one PC:
- Cloud save combines save data from multiple systems.
If you’ve been playing MINDHACK on more than one PC, it’s likely that one of the save files will be overwritten, as all save data will be merged into a single primary file.
The save data uploaded to the cloud will generally be the one with the most recent save date.
- Save Data Conflicts.
However, under certain circumstances, a "save data conflict" may occur. For example, this can happen if a new save file is created while the device is offline.
A "conflict" refers to a situation where the Cloud save data and the local save data on your device are inconsistent, making it unclear which is the most recent save file.
If a conflict occurs, a Steam dialog will appear, allowing you to choose which data to retain.
The selected save file will be kept as the latest save in the cloud, and the unselected one will be deleted. Please carefully review the dates on each save file to determine which one to keep.
- Minimal impact for single-PC players.
If you’ve only been playing MINDHACK on one PC, this change is not expected to significantly affect your save data. However, since Cloud save is a Steam feature, it may still affect other MINDHACK save files stored on the same device. Please be cautious if you share the PC with family members or housemates who also play the game.
Timing of Cloud Save Synchronization
Starting on March 2nd, save files will automatically begin uploading to the cloud when you play the game. You can confirm if the feature is enabled by checking for an icon displayed next to the "Play" button on Steam.
Key Details:
- Save files are uploaded to the cloud when the game application is closed.
- Save files are downloaded from the cloud when the game application is launched.
You can monitor the current status of cloud synchronization by checking the above-mentioned icon.
