Open World Foreva Patch Notes — June 17, 2022
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
In this most recent update you will find three new views when you login. The purpose of this update is to make things a bit more intuitive & easier to understand.
These views can be hidden and/or closed. So if you feel you don't need them. You can close them or hide them.

Tutorials
As per some feedback. I understand it has been hard for some to understand: how things work, what can be done & what is occurring.
Therefore I have spent time doing my best to help guide new players with more information that is easy to follow.
On the right-hand side of the window. You will now find tutorials for different things. Each tutorial has steps that are to be achieved by the user. When you have achieved a part of the tutorial. Such as cutting down a tree. The checkbox automatically gets checked.
Furthermore, each step in a tutorial has a little questionmark. So that you will get sufficient info about how to achieve that step in a more detailed manner.
The majority of the tutorials are things that are to be achieved in the game. To verify your understanding of in-game concepts. However, a small part of the tutorials are purely informational. In this case the checkboxes are already checked, but you can find more information on a topic by clicking the questionmark.
Eventlog
To further help you as a player understand what is happening in the game. In regards to your own actions and your own player. There is an eventlog on the right-hand side now.
This log writes out and logs the 8 last events that you have caused or received.
For instance: When you eat some food you will see a confirmation of having eaten & how much health was gained.
Health & temperature info
In the top of the window. You will find a smaller view. This displays your own health & the health of the last thing you've hit.
It also displays the temperature in the area where you are, and your own temperature. Your own temperature is higher than the temperature in the area when you wear clothes.
Inventory update
The inventory has had some minor visual changes & techncal changes.
- You can now have more than one stack of one item type; as long as you have space left.
- Stacks can now be moved
- Fixed: Adding many items to an inventory at the same time caused lag before.
- Removing items from a stack is now more intuitive. Before you right-clicked a stack to remove one item. Now you click the button above the stack and specify how many items to remove.
