New Features
-Added MIG welder
Welding wire now has 40 uses (electrodes had only 8)
-Added Taxi Job (check the map for taxi locations)
-Added a new NPC system, used for taxi passengers and pedestrians around towns and beach areas
-Added a fully customizable 3rd-person player character (press 2 to switch views)
-Character customization now works in multiplayer
-Added steering wheel animations in first-person view (can be disabled in settings)
-Added new engine sounds (old sound system can still be enabled)
-Reworked Chad model
The old Chad remains in the game and can now be found only in junkyards
Both versions can be built on the same platform
-Pressing the handbrake button while stationary will now toggle the handbrake on/off
Added as an alternative because using the mouse is less convenient with the new character model
Vehicle & Mechanical Changes
-Reworked traffic system:
-All AI traffic vehicles are now actual game cars
-Adjusted vehicle torque so cars no longer accelerate unrealistically fast
-Valve train wear now has audible effects:
-Rockers or camshaft below 40% condition will cause valve ticking
-Worn crankshafts can now produce rod knock sounds
-Tires now wear faster during burnouts and drifting
Graphics & Performance
-Added FPS limiter
Works only when V-Sync is disabled
World Changes
-Updated the gas station area
-Walking NPCs now appear around towns and beach locations
Fixes
-Fixed odometers not working correctly after 100,000 km/miles
-Loading barns now display a list of missing parts and you can choose to overwrite the barn save in that case
-Collectibles no longer spawn inside the save area near the job table
-Fixed the game still being marked as Early Access
