Creative Mode is now available!
Project Wunderwaffe Patch Notes — June 21, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Commanders,
Project Wunderwaffe has received a new update with one of the most requested features from the community: Creative Mode.
We know the game has been out for a long time, but we also know that some players still return to build, experiment, and push the bunker systems in their own way. This update is for you.
Creative Mode is designed for players who want to enjoy the construction side of Project Wunderwaffe with fewer restrictions. Instead of slowly unlocking buildings and technologies, you can start building freely right away.
What is Creative Mode?
Creative Mode is a new game option focused on free building and experimentation.
In this mode, buildings and technologies are available from the beginning, and construction costs are removed. This lets you test base layouts, try late-game systems, or simply create the bunker you always wanted to build.
The standard game mode remains unchanged and continues to be the intended progression-based experience, with resource limits, technology unlocks, and gradual development.
Creative Mode Features
🛠️ New Creative Mode option
A new Creative Mode button has been added to the new game difficulty screen.

🏗️ Free construction
Buildings can be placed without construction resource costs.
⬆️ Free upgrades
Building upgrades no longer require resources in Creative Mode.
🚇 Free tunnels and elevators
Tunnel and elevator construction is also free.
🏭 All buildings available from the start
All building categories are unlocked immediately.
🔬 Technology tree unlocked
Technologies are available from the beginning, giving access to late-game systems right away.
📦 Crafting still uses resources
Creative Mode does not remove the production economy. Crafting, storage, logistics, and production chains still matter.
💾 Save/load support
Creative Mode games can be saved and loaded.
Why add this now?
Over time, many players asked for a way to build freely without relying on external tools or trainers. Creative Mode is our answer to that request.
It gives you more freedom while keeping the core production and logistics systems intact, so the bunker still feels alive.
Thank you to everyone who played Project Wunderwaffe, shared feedback, reported issues, and kept asking for improvements even after release.
Now go build the Wunderwaffe base of your dreams.
