Heya Folks!
The latest patch is now live on the main game branch, bringing new content including the Clay Mixer, Melon Crates, new furniture pieces, Trader Jobs for earning tech points, and a variety of gameplay tweaks and fixes.
This update also adds environmental storytelling, with scattered lore notes and new points of interest for players to discover throughout the world.

Please Note!
A fresh start is necessary for lore notes to spawn.
Start your journey by reading the first note in the new Lore Journal, located in the Tutorial tab (J key)

Trader Jobs
Introduced a new Trader system that rewards Tech Points and Coins.
Turning in quest items grants 3× more coins than selling them.
Inventory UI
Added a new button for quick access to the Journal.
Jobs Tab
Added a new Jobs section to the UI.
Changes
Clay crafting removed from workbenches – use a Clay Mixer now.
Inventory now displays Month/Season.
Mike now has 10 possible spawn locations.
Plastic max stack increased from 10 to 25.
Watermill build cost updated: – Now requires 25 Aluminum + 25 Cobalt (no more Iron).
Watermill trader tech now costs 2500 coins (was 1500).
Elevator Frame cost updated – now includes 15 Cobalt Ingots.
Tech Cost: Tech progression has been reworked - some technologies now require multiple points to unlock.
Tech Pages: Tech pages now spawn randomly in POIs, both inside buildings and on props such as tables, barrels, etc.
Tech Point Acquisition: Recovered tech pages will no longer grant enough tech points to unlock every technology. Players will instead need to complete Jobs from the Trader (see more details about Jobs below).
Price Adjustment: The sale price of cement has been reduced from 0.80 to 0.25.
Bug Fixes
Harvesting animals didn’t show what was added to inventory – fixed.
Player could become stuck sprinting after using ladders – fixed.
AI wouldn’t detect players in some POIs – fixed.
Garbage Containers placed in elevators became permanently attached – fixed.
Stoves placed in elevators could not be removed - fixed.
Gates saved in an open state would reload closed – now behave properly.
