210930 - Terrain Loading Hotfix
Nearly Dead Patch Notes — September 30, 2021
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
We've now caught a bug that initializes the terrain while save/load. I had a hard time for a few days and fixed it. As a result, the rack has decreased considerably, and also I caught a memory leak.
However, we still need more optimization, so we will continue to work.
And since it's a sudden hotfix, Additional work that we were working on has been applied. Below is a list of other contents.
1. Now, we have a gameplay guide.
Now, when you create a character, the play guide is displayed on the screen. It can be seen as a beginner guide to understand simple operation methods. Most of the veteran players who are reading this article can skip it.
2. Throw away items by dragging and dropping.
I've heard many related suggestions. Fortunately, recent work was related to inventory and production. So now, when you drag and drop the item, it will fall under the character's feet.
3. Overlapping items on the floor.
We improved that 'even if various items fell on the floor, only one representative icon appeared.' Now, up to three are supposed to be shown, and in the future, if there are more than three, we will add additional marks on them.
4. In-game tips.
If you become hungry or tired, the tip will appear on the left. As expected, it is a function for beginners like a Gameplay guide. If you click RMB on it, it disappears.
5. If an injury occurs, a button is created next to the character card.
Since only a few games require individual action for injury, an auxiliary UI button has been created to take action for injury. The button will disappear when it is completely taken care of or when the wound is completely healed.
--- Patch previews in the future.
Originally, these works were supposed to go up with the next patch, but I thought the problem of terrain initialization was severe, so I did a hotfix. So now we are reorganizing the training. The existing training was repetitive, and we just watched the gauge rise, so we are reorganizing it to make it more interesting.
In addition, We will add functions such as subdividing items, disassembling multiple items at the same time, and selecting or sorting all items in the inventory.
