Dear Spellcasters,
We are thrilled to announce part of the changes we have implemented in SpellPunk VR coming with today's update. We hope that you will like them - some of them were in our development plan, others are inspired and designed from your ideas.
What is new?
(1) Train like a Boss - experience SpellPunk VR offline while having fun practising your skills in a very special brand new Shooting Range Mode.
(2) First Time User Experience - we have added some improvements on the First Time User Experience Mode which will make it even funnier and challenging for you guys. You definitely have to try it.
(3) Valve Index support officially implemented.
(4) 6 new battle scenes are awaiting you to play a magical multiplayer duel.
(5) Health Bar - to win a Magical Duel, you either have to take away your opponent’s health, or push him/her off the Platform. You can track your health directly on your Right Hand.
(6) Spell Hint during the Magical Duels - don’t forget that after the MAD MAGE WARRIOR update when you are in a Magical Duel you can only cast the Spells you have chosen before its beginning. If you can’t remember what you have chosen, you can now press the Trackpad (HTC Vive) // Y button (Oculus) // B button (Valve Index) and get access to a Spell Hint UI System.
(7) Other small changes and (8) Bug fixes.
What is coming next?
In the coming months we have plans to make SpellPunk even more stalwart with the implementation of new spells with the option to cast them with a single magical gesture or with a combination of gestures. The bigger the combination, the more powerful the spell will be. New combat scenes, characters, a short story about SpellPunk’s universe and the introduction of 2v2 multiplayer battles will also be added. Although those features are strictly planned out in our development cycle, we are willing to also implement features which came from you guys, our amazing community. Don't hesitate to share your suggestions speaking directly with our team in SpellPunk’s Discord Channel.

We saw that you are enjoying our livestreams. We have been quiet for some time but now when the new update is live we will be happy to start doing live broadcasts again. Stay tuned for an official announcement. We are thinking of playing against you guys and if you beat our developers you will have the chance to receive some inspiring prizes. And during the livestreams we will be also giving away some game codes which with the new "invite friends" option you can save for yourself or gift to a friend with whom you will be happy to duel with.
