SpellPunk VR Patch Notes — July 6, 2020

Dear Spellcasters,
We are thrilled to announce part of the changes we have implemented in SpellPunk VR coming with today's update. We hope that you will like them - some of them were in our development plan, others are inspired and designed from your ideas.
What is new?
(1) a brand new Beginning of the game - yes, it is still a work in progress, but now you will get some initial context what SpellPunk is as an experience. You will be immersed in an atmosphere similar to the battle scenes, be able to learn 3 offensive and 1 defensive spells from the very beginning and maybe you will understand who you are as a character and what is your place in the SpellPunk's world.
(2) an Invite Friends option - you can play SpellPunk versus a friend of yours and trust us when we are saying that adding this feature makes our game feel like a whole different experience filled with laughter, funny moments and a desire for revenge. The bonus is that playing with a friend you are not dependent on the multiplayer matchmaking system.
(3) a brand new Training Mode - with a new and improved Training Mode, you’ll become an eruption of ether-fueled badassery against your opponents. We have completely changed the Training and here we are not only talking about its final look and atmosphere, but also we have changed its gameplay. You will still be able to learn different Spells in it but now you have to master some of them before you successfully unlock others.
(4) a brand new Versus Bot experience - three new AI players enter the field, each with different strengths to give the single-player experience a whole new, challenging feel to prepare you for the multiplayer mode.
(5) changed Magic Symbols - we have changed some of the magical symbols introduced in the previous version of the game.
(6) Characters look different now - we have changed them a little bit adding some finishing touches.
(7) Battle Scenes also look different because of their new colour palettes.
(8) new UI and UX + (9) a Warmup before starting a Magical Duel.
(10) Other small changes and Bug fixes.

Spellcasters, this is just the beginning of all the new improvements and content for SpellPunk VR!
Through the next coming months, we have plans to make our game even more stalwart with the implementation of new spells, combat scenes, characters, and the introduction of 2v2 multiplayer battles. Although those features are strictly planned out in our development cycle, we are willing to also implement features which came from you guys, our amazing community. Don't hesitate to share your suggestions speaking directly with our team in SpellPunk’s Discord Channel.

We saw that you are enjoying our livestreams. We have been quiet for some time but now when the new update is live we will be happy to start doing live broadcasts again. Stay tuned for an official announcement. We are thinking of playing against you guys and if you beat our developers you will have the chance to receive some inspiring prizes. And during the livestreams we will be also giving away some game codes which with the new "invite friends" option you can save for yourself or gift a friend with whom you will be happy to duel with.
