Bartlow's Dread Machine Patch Notes — December 24, 2020
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
- The Agent character can now be changed between levels instead of requiring a separate play-through. Once you unlock a new hero you can play them the very next level.
- The game’s difficulty setting can be changed at any time – between or during levels.
- Finishing the game formerly scrubbed the current saved game after the final boss was defeated. Saves now persist so you can go back for unlockable characters you may have missed.
- Added an option to start a new saved game with gear and money zeroed out. These will still exist in previously saved games.
- Several difficulty spikes have been smoothed out, notably the jungle and temple levels in the fifth world.
- Cash accrues more quickly in the game’s later levels, making it possible to buy more of the advanced weapons for those final big battles.
- Fixed a bug where defeating a boss didn’t give players cash.
- Sundry bug fixes and AI tweaks.
To celebrate, we’re putting the game on sale for two weeks starting December 24th. We hope everyone enjoys the update!
