Devlog #31. Monster Parts: New Mechanics
Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator Patch Notes — October 7, 2025
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Greetings, alchemists!
In the previous devlog, we talked about the new type of ingredients we're currently working on for Potion Craft – monster parts. This time, we'll share a few more with you, and some monster parts with more advanced mechanics. Keep in mind that monster parts are still in development, and many properties may change over time – we'll be testing them in various combinations and listening to your feedback, so feel free to share your ideas and thoughts.
Regular ingredients (such as herbs, mushrooms, and crystals) work in synergy with monster parts in skilled hands and help achieve amazing results! For example, giant toes, per our current design, will allow you to increase the path size of the next added ingredient, while rat tails will decrease it.

Toes and tails affect not only regular ingredients but also other monster parts – for instance, you can use them to change the radius that brains collect experience within.

But the path can not only be enlarged or reduced: with Ooze and Rainbow Ooze, you can also reflect it in different directions!

And most importantly, monster parts that change size or reflect the path can be combined as you see fit and as your alchemical intuition suggests! For example, you can increase the path by over 9000% if you're not afraid that the potion will turn into toe soup.

Another new ingredient is the Unicorn Horn, which allows you to cover vast distances: it builds a teleporting path to the center of the map from any point. And it's possible that this path can also be enlarged or reflected using various monster parts – opening up huge opportunities for experiments and challenges! And yes, after adding the path, it is fixed, so you can shift it with the ladle or rotate it with salts.

Tired of diving into the unknown by plunging into yet another unexplored vortex? Adding a tentacle will reveal exits for all vortices within a certain radius! The stronger the tentacle, the larger the radius.

And for those who want to challenge the established rules of alchemy, you can go against the current with the Spectral Salmon Tail – it will allow you to move from the exit point back to the center of the vortex. This will help not only escape a bad position but also generally increase freedom of movement across the map, in skilled hands.

That's all for today, but we'll continue sharing new monster parts in upcoming devlogs. We're designing them so that in different combinations, they form new synergies, which in turn will help you showcase your creative or optimizing talent to unleash your inner master alchemist.
