My Koi Patch Notes — August 14, 2020
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
• Growth issue fix. There was a bug where if you neglected your fish and then came back after a week or more then fish could jump to full maturity. This has been resolved. I have also adjusted the growth rate to be more steady and less sudden. This means fish will grow at a more consistent rate over a longer time frame. However it does also mean that some of your older fish will stop growing for a few weeks until they realign with the new system. To also compensate I have reduced some of the growth unlock targets as it will take longer to reach them than before. I have also potentially resolved an issue where fish could be created with negative growth and weight targets and subsequently wouldn't grow. I still need to find a fix that repairs the already created (damaged) fish, hopefully in the next update.
• Increased base audio volume. There was quite a lot of feedback that the audio was too quiet so I have given it a general boost. Hopefully it's better for everyone and more in line with other audio events on your system.
• Closer fish tracking camera. Due to popular demand the default fish tracking camera is now slightly closer to the fish. You can also zoom closer than before using the mouse wheel.
• Fixed a time of day bug that occurred when locked to 24hrs and would cause the game to get stuck on the loading screen.
As always please let me know if you encounter any new issues, thanks for your support, Andy
