Aimbeast Patch Notes — March 30, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
As we were reaching the limit of 10K leaderboards imposed by the Steam API, we added a new backend to the game, which is going to allow for an unlimited number of leaderboards and greater customization in the future.
With this update, the loading times have been greatly reduced (especially for leaderboard fetching), and players who were previously affected by country-level ISP restrictions should now be able to access the game without major issues (some may still need to use a VPN).
As this transition could potentially cause some new bugs, the previous version of the game will remain temporarily accessible on a separate branch, which can be selected by right-clicking on "Aimbeast" in your Steam library > Properties > Game Versions & Betas > Select "legacy".
Leaderboards with more than 10 entries have all been moved to the new backend as well.
The Ranked Playlists category rank calculation has also been changed to use the average rank of the scenarios in that category, instead of the lowest rank.
Improved Leaderboard Entries Tooltip:
Scores submitted after this update will have more in-depth data, such as: Display, Avg FPS, Pauses Counter, Duration, Date, Extra Score, Critical Rate, and Distance Travelled.
We also improved the look of such data to make it easier to read.

Arena Live Player Counter:
In the menu, near the Arena button, you'll see a new pop-up that appears when players are playing Arena, as well as when there are players in auto-join.

Other Changes:
Fixed a bug that caused the Friends Only checkbox to not work on leaderboards where you had no score.
Fixed Arena auto-join sometimes not removing players from the list and leaving "ghost" players.
Added new highscore bar setting "Target Score Multiplier".
Fixed a bug that caused Critical Rate in the end session tab to always show 0%.
